The Bermuda Bicycle Association Winners Edge Road Race takes place on Sunday, April 12, with traffic controls in place across St. David’s Island and The Causeway between 8.00am and 11.00am
Motorists are being asked to use caution and follow the instructions of Race Marshals this Sunday as the Bermuda Bicycle Association (BBA) holds its Winners Edge Road Race across parts of the East End.
According to a Traffic Order issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Environment, the race will run from 8.00am to 11.00am on Sunday, April 12, 2026. There will be no road closures, but Race Marshals will be positioned along the route to direct traffic.
The race starts and finishes at Kindley Field Road. Riders will head east to the Swing Bridge roundabout before proceeding through St. David’s Road, Clearwater Middle School, Pepper Hall Road, and Tommy Fox Road. The route then continues via Lower Gates Road, returning to the Swing Bridge roundabout before heading along Kindley Field Road to the Airport roundabout, onto The Causeway, and up Blue Hole Hill, where riders will make a U-turn at the Blue Hole Hill roundabout before retracing the route to the finish line.
The Ministry is asking for the full cooperation of the motoring public and has apologised for any inconvenience the event may cause.

The order was issued by the Hon. Jache Adams, JP, MP, Minister of Public Works and Environment, under the Road Traffic Act 1947 (Traffic Order No. 31/2026).
