The Ministry of Public Works and Environment is advising motorists of a temporary lane closure on Middle Road in Devonshire to facilitate Bermuda Link trench works.
The closure affects the section of Middle Road between Tee Street and Tribe Road No. 1 and will remain in place from today, May 25, through Friday, May 29, between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
Motorists travelling eastbound and westbound should expect delays, with temporary traffic lights and stop-and-go signs in operation throughout the work period.
Detour routes will be available via Tee Street, Montpelier Road and Flora Duffy Hill.
Traffic management will be overseen by representatives from Invisible Trenching Ltd.
The Ministry has apologised for any inconvenience and is encouraging the public’s cooperation while the works are carried out.
