Organiser, Clifford Roberts says he hopes to raise $27k in aid of men’s health at the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre
The 14th annual Man on the Run 5-K run/walk event will take place on Sunday November 8th with the aim of raising around $27,000 for the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre’s Equal Access fund to support those under or un-insured with a cancer diagnosis.
While vacationing in Chile in 2022…. event founder Clifford Roberts was unexpectedly diagnosed with benign prostate hyper-plasia.
Mr. Roberts has since been involved with Prostate Awareness Bermuda, a support group for men seeking a network with others diagnosed with prostate diseases or cancers.
As an established advocate, he said it only encouraged his continued campaigning to raise awareness on men’s health issues.
