On Monday, September 21, 2026, officers from the Tactical Operations Division of the Bermuda Police Service (BPS), conducted a targeted operation, which resulted in the arrest of a male in connection with an incident which occurred on Front Street, City of Hamilton, at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, 12th September 2026.
The arrest relates to an altercation captured on CCTV, during which the male is alleged to have brandished a large knife.
During the operation, officers recovered a large knife believed to be of evidential significance to the investigation. The item has been seized and will be subject to further examination.
The matter remains under investigation as enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.
