Jaydon Roberts and Camerin Pickering seal Bermuda 1-2 in Caribbean Archery Premier League

Bermuda’s archers have asserted their dominance on the regional stage after capturing a remarkable 1-2 finish in the senior division alongside an Under-21 podium place in the 2026 Caribbean Premier Archery League.

The three-month competition, which commenced in July and concluded on 30 September, saw Bermuda line up against eight rival nations: the Bahamas, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Curaçao, Guyana, the US Virgin Islands, and Jamaica.

In the flagship Men’s Senior Recurve 70-metre Division, Jaydon Roberts delivered an exhibition of consistency across the 13-strong field, clinching first place overall with a winning total of 1,325 out of a possible 1,440.

Compatriot Camerin Pickering ensured a Bermudian sweep at the summit, securing second place with a composed 1,295 to fend off the regional chasing pack.

The island’s success carried into the youth category through rising prospect Electra Smith, who shot 853 out of 1,440 in the Under 21 Women’s Recurve Division to seal a well-earned runner-up finish.

The triple-medal return marks another strong international milestone for the National Archery Association of Bermuda as the island’s archers continue to climb the regional ranks.
