Diallo Rabain says the ‘pause’ to transitioning from three-tier to two-tier public education was only supposed to last a year, and he wants to know what is holding it back
The success of Signature School Programmes is evident, according to Diallo Rabain.
The Education Minister concedes, however, that parents have become skeptical about the planned transition to a two-tier public school system.
Reflecting on the first four years of Signature Senior Schools, Minister Rabain cites feedback from a former teacher who, to coin a phrase, became a believer at a recent high school graduation.
Nevertheless, he says the ‘pause’ to transitioning from three-tier to two-tier public education was only supposed to last a year, and he wants to know what is holding it back.
