Mr. Murdoch, a naval lawyer and former FDCO legal director, pledged to do his ‘very best’ for Bermuda
Former Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Legal Director and British naval lawyer, Andrew Murdoch, was officially sworn-in today as Governor of Bermuda.
Mr. Murdoch was formally greeted on the tarmac at the airport last evening by a delegation of leaders.
A Swearing-In Ceremony for Governor Murdoch took place this morning on the Cabinet Office Lawn. The ceremony was presided over by the Secretary to the Cabinet Major Marc Telemaque, and the official Oath was administered by the Chief Justice, Larry Mussenden.
Mr. Murdoch pledging to do his very best for Bermuda, noting his arrival at an important time for the country.
