Two years on, where is the National Strategy on Community Violence?
A multi-agency strategy to address community violence, overseen by an independent body.
This is apparently one of the goals of the long-awaited National Strategic Plan for Community Violence and Anti-Social Behaviour.
Minister of National Security Michael Weeks first stated Government’s intention to introduce such a strategy 2 years ago.
Following the double murder on Wednesday, Gary Foster Skelton asked the Minister about the strategy.
