The Department of Sport and Recreation is advising the public that the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium will be closed to the public from Monday, September 14, 2026, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
The closure is to facilitate preparations for the upcoming Davis Cup tournament.
Beginning Monday, September 14, 2026, increased activity will take place at the stadium as contractors, vendors, and event staff undertake site preparations, equipment installation, and operational setup activities. As a result, the courts and facility will not be available for public use during this time.
The Department of Sport and Recreation thanks the public for their patience and cooperation as Bermuda prepares to host this prestigious international sporting event.
