2 motorcycles collide, one rider in hospital with serious head injury
Police statement:
There has been a serious road traffic collision involving two motorcycles at the junction of Bishop Spencer and Palmetto roads, Pembroke.
It is understood that one of the bike riders has been transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, for what is said to be a serious but head injury.
The roadway is currently blocked with eastbound traffic being diverted along St. Monica’s Road and west bound traffic is being diverted onto Roberts Avenue.
Motorists are advised to approach these diversion points with caution and follow the instructions of officers at those locations.
