The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has issued an amended Road Traffic Notice relating to planned Swing Bridge detour route construction works in St. George’s.
According to the Ministry, the updated notice corrects street names listed under Phase I and Phase IV of the project. Phase I now references park access via Southside Road, while Phase IV references Waller’s Point Road.
The phased detour route construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 25, and continue through Monday, September 7, with work taking place daily between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Motorists are being advised to travel with caution through the construction zones, follow all posted signage and obey traffic controls in the area.
