Anne Burrell led cooking demos at the Taste of Bermuda Festival
A celebrity chef who starred in the Taste of Bermuda festival has died, at the age of 55.
Anne Burell was found unresponsive at her Brooklyn home yesterday, following a 911 call reporting a possible cardiac arrest.
She rose to fame on Iron Chef America and hosted Worst Cooks in America for over a decade.
In 2022, she was the official celebrity guest chef at the Taste of Bermuda festival, invited by the City of Hamilton and sponsored by the BTA.
She led cooking demonstrations in the Tasting Village, signed cookbooks, and gave motivational talks at Bermuda College.
In an interview with Kendal Trott, she shared her philosophy and spoke about her favourite meals.
