The head of a snake conservation group in the US says an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, one of which is thought to be loose in Bermuda, blends well into environments
An unexpected snake sighting has left some Bermudians… well, rattled.
There has been no further sighting or reported evidence of the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake since a photo first alerted Government to the potential invader last Friday.
However, the head of a snake conservation body in the US says keeping out of sight is a speciality of the species.
Tiffany Bright is the Executive Director of the Rattlesnake Conservancy in Jacksonville, Florida. She told us more about the species, and the challenges of both locating and capturing it.
