The island faced uncommon foggy conditions Friday evening through Saturday, prompting caution on the roads and turning back a flight

“I don’t think I have ever seen fog like this in Bermuda in nearly 26 years.”
That was the reaction from one Bermudian on social media, after fog descended over the island on Friday night.
Residents were urging each other to drive carefully in low-visibility conditions, and an Air Canada flight from Toronto was turned back.
Bermuda Weather Service reported that a trough over the area had led to low cloud conditions on Friday night.
The patchy fog was set to clear gradually into Saturday, with the possibility of showers.
BWS reports a cold front approaching from the west in Sunday, with cloudy skies and showers before clearing away on Monday morning.
