Lewis Completes Stunning Grand Prix with Trio of Medals

Jessica wins a gold and 2 bronze in Switzerland

Bermuda’s Paralympic star Jessica Lewis has delivered a phenomenal series of performances at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Switzerland, returning home with an impressive haul of three medals across the sprint distances. 

Lewis kicked off her campaign in style on Day One, powering to a gold medal in the T53 Women’s 200 meters. She crossed the finish line in a winning time of 30.81 seconds, demonstrating her speed and dominance in the event. 

The following day, Lewis added to her medal tally, securing a bronze in the T53 Women’s 100 meters. She clocked a time of 16.36 seconds, narrowly missing out on silver in a closely fought race. 

Lewis completed her medal collection on Day Three of the Grand Prix, claiming another bronze in the T53 Women’s 400 meters. She recorded a time of 58.58 seconds, showcasing her endurance and consistency across the different sprint events. 

Winning gold in the 200m and bronze in both the 100m and 400m at a World Para Athletics Grand Prix is a remarkable achievement for Jessica Lewis.
