Both men are hospitalised following the crash on Parsons Road
A motorcyclist is in the Intensive Care Unit following a collision with a pedestrian.
The incident occurred last night at around 7:20 pm on Parsons Road in Pembroke. Both the 26-year-old rider and the 68-year-old pedestrian were hospitalised with injuries sustained in the crash.
According to police, the motorcycle was reportedly travelling westbound on Parsons Road when the pedestrian was struck as he attempted to cross the road near Crossland Lane.
Both men were rushed to hospital by ambulance. The pedestrian continues to receive treatment, while the motorcyclist remains in the ICU.
Police say their inquiries are ongoing and encourage witnesses to contact Constable Jonathan Flood at 211.
