Football: A Motorcade on Front Street and a visit to the Cabinet Office for North Village Community Club
Premier Division champions, North Village capped off a stellar season with a 2–nil victory over Devonshire Cougars at the Flora Duffy Stadium on Sunday to claim the FA Cup title and with it a rare domestic double.
Yesterday, Premier David Burt and acting Sports Minister Jache Adams welcomed members of North Village to the Cabinet Office, to offer their congratulations on the club’s achievements in keeping with the annual tradition.
Premier Burt said, “Winning both the league and the FA Cup is a great accomplishment and a source of pride for the club. Congratulations to the North Village Community Club on an outstanding season.
