This, from OBA-turned-independent MP Robert King.
In an interview today, the Smith’s North MP initially said he would not be resigning as an MP to then stand as an independent, citing the cost of a bye-election, and the possibility of a General Election following the PLP Leadership change in October.
When pressed, however, Mr King called on Smith’s North constituents to petition for a bye-election if they are not given a vote later this year.
