Kite in St. David’s area poses danger to air traffic near L.F. Wade International; public urged to help identify individual
UPDATE, 6:31pm: Police say the kite has been located and taken down.
Police issued the following media release just before 5:30 pm.
The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for the public’s assistance in locating the person flying a kite in the Saint David’s/Clearwater area.
The kite poses a threat to air traffic as it is being flown in the no fly zone surrounding the L.F. Wade International Airport.
Officers have been dispatched to try and locate the person flying that kite. If you know who they are, please advise that they take it down.
