Teams and dignitaries gather at Camden

Following a time-honoured tradition, the Premier last night welcomed the 2025 Somerset and St. George’s Cup Match teams & coaches to the annual Cup Match reception at Camden House.
Somerset Cricket Club President Richard Scott, St. George’s Cricket Club President Mishael Paynter, and their clubs’ respective teams were in attendance.
Team captains Terryn Fray and Sinclair Smith addressed the attendees, who included local dignitaries, club officials, Cup Match legends, family, and friends.
The Premier, joined by his family, extended congratulations and best wishes to both teams, emphasising the importance of unity, sportsmanship, and the enduring legacy of Cup Match in Bermudian culture.
