Sundance: A chat with award-winning director, producer

At the Sundance Film Festival, one of the films that won a major award was Lady — a striking neo-noir set in modern Lagos that explores dreams, gender, and survival through the lens of a taxi driver navigating a hidden world.

Kendal Trott spoke to Nigerian-British writer and director Olive Nwosu and executive producer David Kimbangi about the film, what producers look for when backing projects, and how places like Bermuda can continue to grow as creative and entertainment hubs.

Lady was winner of the World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting Ensemble.
