The Bentley Women’s Swimming & Diving team secured a dominant victory in their home opener, surging past Assumption University with a commanding score of 132-71 at the Dana Center.
The win was spearheaded by a superb individual performance from Bermudian swimmer Taylor White, who showcased impressive versatility by clinching victories across two distinct disciplines.
White first won the demanding Women’s 1000 Yards Freestyle, clock clocking a swift time of 10 minutes, 54.56 seconds (10:54.56). She then demonstrated her speed by recording the fastest time in the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke, touching the wall at 1 minute, 1.03 seconds (1:01.03).
White’s contribution was crucial to the Falcons’ success, which was further boosted by her swimming the lead-off backstroke leg for the winning 200 Yard Medley Relay team. The comprehensive victory improves Bentley’s season record and sends a strong statement to their Northeast-10 rivals.
