A load shed briefly disrupted service to about 11,000 customers yesterday evening
Around 11,000 BELCO customers experienced a brief power outage yesterday evening after the utility company experienced a “load shed” at about 5pm.
Wayne Caines, BELCO’s president, said power was restored to the majority of affected customers within approximately 20 minutes.
He added: “The remaining 800 customers in St George’s were restored shortly after, with all customers back online within an hour.
“BELCO thanks customers for their patience this evening.”
