Bermuda will take centre stage on the international netball calendar later this summer after being named as the host nation for the prestigious 2026 Americas Netball Men’s Championship.
The flagship tournament, running from August 31st to September 8th, will bring the region’s elite male talent together for a high-stakes, week-long battle for continental supremacy.
To support fundraising efforts for both the upcoming Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games and the Men’s Championships, Netball Bermuda will be holding Tag Days in Hamilton this Friday and Saturday.
Men’s netball continues to experience a rapid surge in global popularity. This year’s showcase looks to build heavily on the momentum of the dramatic 2024 edition in St. Kitts and Nevis, which saw eight powerhouse nations—including Jamaica, England, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States—deliver a masterclass in athleticism.
With defending heavyweights and rising continental contenders set to descend on the island, local fans can expect a blockbuster festival of sport. For Bermuda, hosting an event of this magnitude represents a massive logistical milestone and a golden opportunity to showcase the sport’s expanding high-performance pipeline on home soil.
