Clyde Best and football icons take centre stage at BSOA art exhibition

The story of Bermudian football legend Clyde Best is set to take centre stage with the local premiere of Transforming the Beautiful Game tomorrow. The film will be showing on island from Tuesday April 21st through the 26th at the Earl Cameron Theatre. While the first two nights are already sold out, the community is being encouraged to show their support.

Ahead of the premiere, an art exhibition was held at the Bermuda Society of Arts, highlighting the impact of his legacy. Kendal Trott spoke with Dan Egan, director and executive producer of the film, who discussed Bermuda’s influence on the global game of football.

The legend himself, Clyde Best told Kendal Trott about the journey behind bringing his story to the big screen. He shared the most challenging moments during filming and what he hopes audiences will take away from the film’s message.
