Collision involving motorcycle and car closes roadway as emergency crews respond

Shortly after 12 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, Police and other first responders were dispatched to a serious road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a motorcar on the Lane, Paget.
It is understood the male motorcycle rider may have sustained serious chest injuries. He was attended to at the scene by Emergency Medical Services personnel and subsequently transported via ambulance, to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, for further treatment of his injuries
The roadway is currently closed to vehicular traffic with diversions in place at the junction of Harbour Road and Lovers Lane, as well as at the junction of Pomander Road and the Lane.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to get to their destinations where are possible.
