Curtis and Tucker Conquer Wall Memorial Regatta

Sailing in St George’s Harbour

The annual Wall Memorial Regatta brought a splash of colour and competition to the waters of St. George’s Harbour in Bermuda. The Comet Class sailors faced a challenging course, navigating from the harbour, out through the Town Cut Channel, and back from the Oil Docks.

In a display of impressive teamwork and sailing skill, the winning boat was helmed by Maxwell Curtis and Wesley Tucker, who expertly completed the course in 1 hour, 59 minutes, and 34 seconds. Their familiarity with the local conditions clearly paid dividends.

The race for the podium was tightly fought, with Gladwin Lambert and Stefan Maybury putting in a strong performance to secure second place, finishing just one minute and twelve seconds behind the winners, clocking a time of 2 hours and 46 seconds.

The third spot on the podium went to Anthony Smith and Zane Hendrickson, who also navigated the course with skill and consistency, finishing in 2 hours, 2 minutes, and 49 seconds.
