Cycling champ tells men to check for cancer early

Retired police officer and Sinclair Packwood cycling champion Darren Glasford has benefited from a partnership between Bermuda Cancer and Health and Mass General Brigham, and he urges men to be proactive about their health

For those who don’t know what that means, it’s a part of the screening process for prostate cancer, revealed by a simple blood test.

Retired police officer and cycling champion Darren Glasford spoke to Gary Foster Skelton about his own journey with prostate cancer, and he urges men to be proactive about their health.

He told us how he has benefited from a partnership between Bermuda Cancer and Health and Mass General Brigham, representatives of which were in Bermuda recently, highlighting the success of their work together over the last decade.
