Challengers Bailey’s Bay have named a formidable, star-studded squad as they aim to wrest the Eastern County Cup from holders Cleveland County this Saturday.
Widely regarded as one of the most intense and historic spectacles in Bermudian cricket, the iconic competition returns to Lord’s in St. David’s, with the action scheduled to get underway at 10:00 AM on July 18th.
National team captain Terryn Fray will lead the Bay from the front, bringing crucial stability to the top of the batting order. He will be ably supported by veteran all-rounder and vice-captain Rodney Trott, whose extensive experience in high-pressure County environments will be key to dismantling Cleveland’s defense.
With a powerful XI that features explosive talent like Delray Rawlins and Derrick Brangman, the challengers have made their intentions clear: they are primed to dethrone the champions in their own backyard.
