The airline says it has created almost $100 million in added economic benefit for Bermuda

BermudAir, Bermuda’s hometown airline, proudly marks its second anniversary this week.

Since launching service in September 2023, BermudAir has provided consistent, reliable year-round connectivity that benefits Bermudians with dramatically greater access to the US and Canada, strengthens Bermuda’s visitor economy, and makes the island more relevant to potential visitors.
In just its first two years of operation, the airline has created almost $100 million in added economic benefit for Bermuda, and is projected to more than double in the years to come.
To date, the airline has created more than 120 locally based opportunities across operations, corporate services, and management roles. These are sustainable jobs that offer career growth opportunities for Bermudians. In addition, BermudAir has committed to sourcing and developing on-island talent, including summer internships and student recruitment. The company is currently recruiting for more than 50 open positions as it develops in-house ground-handling and other functions.
BermudAir has consistently partnered with local organisations and events such as the Bermuda Risk Summit and Cup Match, Relay for Life, and Bermuda Chamber of Commerce Harbour Nights, demonstrating its dedication to supporting initiatives that strengthen community spirit and enrich the island’s cultural life.
To mark the occasion, BermudAir is offering travellers 35% off base fares. The sale begins today, September 2, 2025, and is valid for travel until December 16, 2025.
