Bermuda’s Trina Roberts has been appointed as the new Chair of the World Archery Americas Development Committee for the 2026–2028 term.
Roberts steps into the leadership role having already served as a dedicated member of the committee since 2022.
The vital advisory body drives the growth of the sport across the region by shaping initiatives, rules, and coaching infrastructure, while offering crucial support to athletes, judges, and member associations.
“Prior to this appointment I was a member of this committee from 2022,” Roberts said. “I am pleased to provide my contribution within regional archery governance and development across the Americas.”
The high-profile regional appointment adds to Roberts’ growing influence in the sport’s global administration, with the Bermudian confirming she will also retain her international seat on the World Archery Board of Justice and Ethics.
Roberts will lead a newly structured five-member committee, with the Dominican Republic’s Ludys Tejada named as Deputy Chair. Junior Bolaños (Canada), Derek Davis (USA), and Miguel Ángel Flores (Mexico) complete the regional governing line-up.
