The historic 635-nautical-mile Newport Bermuda Race has been conquered at exceptional speed, with the formidable super-maxi Black Jack 100 arriving first to claim line honours.
After an incredible offshore sprint, the 100-foot vessel sliced through the Atlantic to cross the finish line off St. David’s in 1 day, 11 hours, 26 minutes, and 46 seconds. While falling just 48 minutes short of the absolute race record, the crew, led by Ramon Vos and Tristan Le Brun, celebrated wildly as they arrived in the pitch darkness off Bermuda.
Owned by Dutch billionaire Remon Vos, the yacht is purpose-built for outright speed and already holds a legendary reputation in prestigious ocean races worldwide.
The triumphant finish was met with raucous cheers and smiles, sealing an outstanding passage to the “Onion Patch” and marking a remarkable opening performance for the 2026 fleet.
