Traffic management equipment will be in place while the work is carried out
Motorists are being alerted to a continued lane closure due to ongoing repair work to restore the bride deck on the Causeway Bailey Bridge in St. George’s.
A Ministry of Public Works and Environment spokesperson said, “This extension is necessary to complete essential maintenance work safely and efficiently.”
The closure is expected to be in place this Saturday and Sunday between 6am and 6pm, daily.
They also said traffic controls managed by Ministry staff will be set up using traffic lights and stop-and-go signs.
A spokesperson concluded, “The Ministry appreciates the public’s continued patience as these important infrastructure works progress.
“Motorists are urged to proceed with caution while travelling through the affected area.”
