The owner of the software company, RTX, confirmed a cyber-related disruption impacted key services such as check-in and boarding information at several airports

Some flight delays and cancellations were experienced across several European airports on Saturday following a cyberattack on operating systems.
Reuters reported, “RTX, Collins Aerospace’s parent company, said it was aware of a “cyber-related disruption” to the software at selected airports, without naming them.
“Heathrow Airport said it was among those affected.”
The latest disruption is one of a series of cyber related events impacting governments and international businesses, according to Reuters.
Bermuda Broadcasting understands the British Airways flight BA159 due to arrive in Bermuda at 6 p.m. this evening was delayed.
A revised arrival time was scheduled for 6.39p.m. however, it has not been confirmed whether the delay is caused by the cyberattack.
Heathrow, London, a key gateway airport for Bermuda, 651 departures were scheduled from Heathrow however, only 29 flights were cancelled in total on Saturday between Brussels airport, Heathrow airport and Berlin airport.
Dublin and Cork airport also reportedly experienced mild impacts by the cyberattack.
The software company added that is is working to resolve the matter.
