Bermuda Airport Authority press release:
A scheduled flight inspection of the LF Wade International Airport air navigation aids will take place on August 4th and 5th 2025. The flight inspection will be carried out by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in a special-purpose aircraft, supported on the ground by the Bermuda Airport Authority’s Air Traffic Engineering team.
During this period, the public may observe the aircraft performing low-altitude approaches and flight manoeuvres in the vicinity of the airport, which are a routine part of the inspection process.
Flight inspections are critical to ensuring the safety and reliability of air navigation systems. The inspections ensure that the air navigation aids are operating within required specifications.
