USL League Two outfit FC Motown have bolstered their summer roster with the signing of Bermudian youth international Xahvi Deroza.
Deroza arrives in the USL 2 Division following a standout freshman campaign at the University of New Hampshire. The midfielder became a pivotal figure for the Wildcats, featuring in 15 games and earning a reputation as one of the region’s most promising young talents.
His rapid adaptation to the rigours of NCAA Division I football did not go unnoticed; earlier this year, he was named to the America East All-Rookie Team.
The signing brings significant international experience to the Motown engine room. Deroza has been a mainstay for the Bermuda Under-20 national team, a role that has allowed him to refine his technical ability on the continental stage.
FC Motown are looking to assert their dominance this season, and the addition of Deroza provides a potent blend of youthful energy and tactical maturity. For the player, the move offers a vital competitive platform to maintain his edge before returning to New Hampshire for his sophomore year.
