Former hotel hit by Hurricane Imelda

While widespread structural damage was minimal, the storm appeared to bring down a wall at the old Hamiltonian site

Bermuda was getting back on its feet today after being pummeled through the night by Hurricane Imelda.

The receding winds were still strong on North Shore today, where Gary Foster Skelton provided an overview of some of the impacts.

There does not appear to be widespread structural damage, although one elevated property in Pembroke – on the site of the old Hamiltonian Hotel took a heavy hit. (WATCH above)
