Environmental groups are pushing back on the Government’s proposal to transform Southlands National Park with new amenities, including a café and car park.
They question the development’s necessity, scale, and potential environmental impact.
The Government, however, maintains that the upgrades are meant to make the park “a more vibrant, accessible space for residents and visitors.”
