Bermuda’s Olympian Jack Harvey has had a strong showing at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, though he narrowly missed out on setting a new national record.
Competing in the Men’s 50m Backstroke, Harvey clocked a time of 25.55 seconds. According to the latest updates to the Bermuda Long Course Records, this was just shy of the 25.21 record he set earlier this year at the TYR Pro Series in Fort Lauderdale.
While the performance in Singapore was a solid one, his time places him 40th overall in a highly competitive field. Harvey will look to continue his impressive form as he builds towards future competitions, further cementing his position as one of the region’s top Backstroke swimmers.
