Bermudian rugby player Jamin Hodgkins delivered an outstanding individual performance for the Pacific Pride Academy, despite his team’s 43-36 defeat to the University of Victoria.
The match, a British Columbia Men’s Premier League opener, was a game of two distinct halves. The Pride looked set for a comfortable win after storming to a 31-12 lead by halftime.
However, the Vikes mounted a powerful second-half comeback, outscoring their opponents 31-5 to clinch a dramatic victory.
