Hospital treating patient who requires daily use of the chamber, says Bermuda Hospitals Board
The hyperbaric chamber at the hospital will be unavailable for diving-related emergencies over the next week.
The Bermuda Hospitals Board said its hyperbaric team began emergency treatment yesterday for a patient who requires a series of sessions in the chamber throughout the week.
As a result, divers are being advised that hyperbaric treatment will not be available during this period.
The BHB said the chamber is expected to reopen to divers on Wednesday, February 18.
