Bermudian footballers in action in the UK

Southwell City FC fell to a frustrating 2-1 defeat against Pinxton FC, with a controversial late penalty decision denying the home side a potential equalizer.
Bermuda international Ayleal Dill had given Southwell hope, coolly converting a spot-kick after Pinxton had raced into a two-goal lead.
Despite dominating the second half, Southwell’s push for a leveller ended in fury when a late penalty appeal was waved away by the referee. Dill and his teammates were left to rue their missed opportunity to snatch a point.
Wilshere Closes in on Luton Town Manager Role
Jack Wilshere is reportedly on the cusp of his first permanent senior managerial job, with a deal to take charge of League One side Luton Town said to be “all but agreed.”
Sources indicate the former Arsenal and England midfielder, 33, has held successful talks at Kenilworth Road and is set to replace the recently departed Matt Bloomfield.
Wilshere, who has had coaching stints with Arsenal’s youth teams and as an interim manager at Norwich City, will take over a Luton side, which features Bermuda striker Nahki Wells, looking to reverse a poor start to their campaign in the third tier.
The move marks a significant step in Wilshere’s burgeoning coaching career.
