The vintage machines are from the 2-stroke era of the 1980s

Exciting news now for Bermuda’s motoring enthusiasts!
Next month’s Scooter Mart Motor Fest, presented by Bermuda Charge, will feature two iconic superbikes from the 1980s 2-stroke era – a 1985 Yamaha RD500LC and a 1986 Suzuki RG500 Gamma Walter Wolf Limited Edition.
These rare collector’s items will be showcased by Stolzftus Logistics International, the festival’s first overseas exhibitor.
A spokesperson for Bermuda Charge said: “With Stolzftus Logistics International making this grand gesture of support to Bermuda’s motoring enthusiasts, the event will proudly showcase immaculately preserved iconic bikes from the 2-stroke era of the 1980s, giving many residents the opportunity to see and hear these machines for the first time.”
“The superbikes are owned by Dean Stolzfus, President and founder of his namesake company, and a well known figure within the Bermuda biking community.”
This year’s event also welcomes special guests from the East Coast, England and Northern Ireland including superbike superstar and former Isle of Man TT champion Steve Plater.

Mr Plater commented: “I’m really looking forward to swinging a leg over them, they were the iconic bikes that everybody wanted when I was a youngster! I have ridden a lot of factory 500s, but I’ve never experienced these two beauties that are coming to Bermuda in June!”
The Scooter Mart Motor Fest takes place on Sunday June 29.
Entry for spectators is free, and there will be live entertainment, vendors, kids activities and hundreds of locally curated vintage and custom cars and bikes.Â
