A Warwick man is being praised for his heroic actions after leaping into the ocean to rescue the occupants of a vehicle that crashed through a wall and landed in the water yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened on Harbour Road near the junction with Belmont Road in Warwick.


According to The Royal Gazette, 37-year-old plumber Darren Mills said he heard a loud bang outside his home, ran to the scene, and swam out to help pull the driver and two children from the car before assisting them to a nearby dock.
The Royal Gazette reports that the passengers appeared shaken but were mostly uninjured.
Following the crash, police confirmed that all occupants were accounted for and taken to hospital for treatment.
