The Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR) today confirmed the election of its Chair and Vice Chair and announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors for the 2025–2027 term.
Natasha Scotland Courcy, CEO and General Counsel of Athene Life Re, has been re-elected
as Chair of the Board, while Jamie Schmerer, Head of Enterprise Risk Management at
Fortitude Re, has been elected Vice Chair. Joining the Board are Danish Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of Somerset Re; Tibor R. Leeuwenburgh, Country Executive for Aegon Bermuda; and Joseph Barrowclough, Chief Financial Officer of Gibraltar Reinsurance Company Ltd. and Lotus Reinsurance Company Ltd.
