Premier David Burt, advised the House of Assembly today that legislation that has been in effect for several years will be reviewed, following a spate of gun violence and anti-social behaviour

Parent’s cannot be shielded from accountability when it comes to anti-social behaviour, according to the Premier David Burt.
Premier David Burt recently requested to convene a Governor’s Council on the impact of gun violence following a spate of murders in the community, one which occurred just a block away from Parliament.
During the House of Assembly session this morning, Premier Burt said a review of the Parental Responsibility Act will be undertaken to ensure all measures are being utilised to hold parents accountable in their children’s development, especially in their moral character.
