Traffic controls in place at Bailey Bridge in St. George’s all weekend and on Curving Avenue in Pembroke on Sunday

The Government issued the following road traffic notices.
Single Lane Closure for Bridge Repair Works, St. George’s
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that there will be a single lane closure on the Bailey Bridge, in the outbound direction from St. George’s, at the Northern end of the Causeway, to accommodate bridge repair works.
The lane closure will commence on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, and will remain in place until Sunday, November 30th, 2025. Working hours will be between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.
Traffic control will be under the direction of representatives from the Ministry of Public Works and Environment and managed with signage, barricades, and stop/go boards.
Motorists travelling through the closure area should expect delays and exercise caution.
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment encourages the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologises for any inconvenience that may result.
Road Closure for the Christmas on the Curve Event, Pembroke
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment wishes to inform the motoring public that there will be a road closure on Curving Avenue, Pembroke Parish, to accommodate the Christmas on the Curve event.
The road closure will occur on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and will extend from King Street to 17 Curving Avenue.
Traffic control will be under the direction of representatives from the Church of God Prophecy.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes via Parsons Road and Happy Valley Road.
