Eight new episodes follow Bermuda Police officers through the island’s busy tourist season, featuring major investigations, specialist units and frontline patrols
A second series of Policing Paradise, the BBC daytime programme following the work of the Bermuda Police Service, returns to television screens today.
BBC One will air eight episodes between today and June 18.
The series follows officers during the island’s peak tourist season, featuring specialist units including dog handlers, jet ski patrols and daily beat patrol teams.
According to episode descriptions, the new season includes an island-wide search for a vulnerable elderly man, a major drug seizure aboard a cruise ship, the discovery of suspected cannabis plants at a private residence, and the search for evidence following a double fatal shooting.
Filming for the second series began in July 2025.
At the time, Sarah Trigg, Executive Producer for Spun Gold TV, said: “We’re so pleased to be making a new series and to be invited back by the Bermuda Police Service after the warm welcome we received from its dedicated officers. The success of the show was a true reflection of their spirit, teamwork and the incredible support from many other key organisations across the island. It’s a real privilege to return this summer.”
Policing Paradise is commissioned for BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
