Watch One Bermuda Alliance (OBA) leader Robert King’s acceptance speech
The One Bermuda Alliance (OBA) has elected its new leader Robert King, who pledged to unite the party and deliver “the strong, determined leadership that Bermuda deserves.”
In his acceptance speech standing alongside Scott Pearman, the newly elected Deputy Leader, he thanked party members, colleagues, and campaign supporters for their trust, while also acknowledging fellow candidates for their contributions.
He emphasized that the leadership race “was never about personalities – it was about the future of the OBA and the future of Bermuda.”
Outlining priorities under a First 100 Days Plan, he committed to listening, engaging, and acting to rebuild trust, strengthen the OBA team, and prepare for the next general election against the Progressive Labour Party (PLP).
“Change starts now,” he declared, vowing not to let supporters down.
