Ralph Scott and his IMG Academy Men’s Basketball teammates secured a hard-fought 74-66 victory over Corner Canyon in a nonregional game, using a dominant third quarter to secure the win.
The contest was tightly fought until IMG Academy unleashed a powerful surge in the third period. The team outscored the Corner Canyon Chargers 26-11 during the quarter, which proved to be the decisive factor in their eventual 74-66 victory.
Trey Beamer led the offensive charge for IMG Academy, finishing as the game’s top scorer for his side with 22 points, including three successful three-pointers. Bermudian forward Ralph Scott contributed 6 points to the winning effort.
For the Chargers, Josh Tolman led the scoring with 20 points, supported by Tyler Mortensen with 19 points, but their efforts were insufficient to overcome IMG Academy’s dominant run.
